THE IMPACT OF JESUS’ LIFE AND MINISTRY IS EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK

Ever heard the phrases “Go the extra mile”, “Turn the other cheek”, or “A wolf in sheep’s clothing”? What about “Love your neighbour as yourself”, “The blind leading the blind”, or “A good Samaritan”? These common expressions first came from the lips of Jesus Christ. Unlike any other person, the teaching and life of Jesus has impacted our world. Millions of church buildings are dedicated to him. Scores of composers and musicians such as Bach, Handel, Mozart, and Vivaldi believed in him. Scientists such as Isaac Newton, Michael Faraday, and Louis Pasteur were all devotees. Thousands of hospitals, orphanages, schools, universities, and soup kitchens have been founded in his name. Hundreds of aid organisations like The Red Cross, The Salvation Army, and World Vision, were started by people following in the footsteps of Jesus. Nearly 1 in every 3 people on the planet believe in him. So yeah, Jesus has made a huge impact which sets him apart in human history.
